I go to the Logitech website. I look at manuals and instructions. How about just type in Logitech webcam drivers? Let's try that. So I go. And I look. I cannot find drivers for the Cx. There are drivers for C and Cs, but not for this one. I know, I thought, we'll just get the drivers for the C and go from there. Round and round the houses on the Logitech website.
The only option it will give me is to download GHub, which is basically for gaming as far as I can tell. Anyway, I download it. It wants me to do all sorts of things like register which will include name, email etc , and to allow them access to my computer and share my data with them, and to share my gaming experiences with others, online.
The thing won't let me proceed unless I agree. But I don't want to agree. I just want a camera such that when I plug it in it just works. I don't want to faff about registering and "Sharing" anything that has absolutely nothing to do with them nor anybody else. This thing is just another expensive paperweight. It's packed, sealed, and is going straight back where it came from tomorrow well, today than 11th.

I've seen a lot of concerns about the legitimacy of this webcam, but since I needed a webcam during these social distancing days, and I had always been eyeing the c, I decided to go ahead and order it once I saw it on stock at its original price. The camera arrived in a very small, logitech-branded box. It came with the user manual prompting you to install logitech capture, and the webcam, that's it.
Installation took about a minute; I plugged the camera in, and ran the software. The webcam was immediately recognized, and I tested out its features. It has been working like a charm ever since. However, if that foot isn't good enough for you, it has the standard integrated tripod screw socket, so you can add any kind of tripod or camera stand you would like.
Now keep in mind though, this version doesn't come with a privacy shutter, and I highly recommend ordering one, for privacy's sake. All in all, I think there are enough reviews about the c to give you more info about the product's performance, I mostly wanted to confirm that this was, in fact, a legitimate c I have tried to find out what the x is at the end, I still haven't found anything to really confirm my theory, but I believe that the regular c doesn'T come with the 3 month free Xsplit subscription, whereas the x has one included in the box.

It is definitely a legitimate Logitech Camera the product when plug in the G-HUB picked up the camera right away and confirmed the driver status. It arrived with the model number Cx which is only different from the S model because it doesn't have the shutter. Had to return unfortunately.
Reviewed in Canada on June 26, This is the webcam everyone recommended to me, and after a week of steady use, I'm not disappointed. Physically, the Cx is far more robust than I expected. I has a solid heft to it, feels like it should last a while. So far, I've used it with both Zoom and Discord, and the results are more than satisfactory. Also, a welcome surprise: the Cx works fine in Windows 7 with no additional software - just plug it into a USB port and away you go.
I do a lot of different things on my workhorse PC, and always appreciate the ability to not clutter it up with needless third-party software. Nonetheless, I deduct a half-star rounded down because, while the camera's packaging says that both Windows 10 and Windows 7 are supported, they are not supported equally. Last I checked May , the Windows 7 software package had been left behind at version 1. The packaging does not mention this, and the Logitech web site does not make it clear what the differences are.
